Description:
The Career Coach for the Achieve More \& Prosper (AMP) is responsible for providing comprehensive case management, career readiness support, and employment placement services to program participants. This role ensures participants are actively engaged, progressing through training, earning industry\-recognized credentials, and successfully transitioning into employment.
The Career Coach plays a critical role in driving performance outcomes tied to enrollment, retention, completion, credential attainment, and job placement while maintaining compliance with all program and funding requirements.
Participant Engagement \& Case Management
- Manage an assigned caseload of participants, providing consistent support from enrollment through job placement and retention
- Conduct intake, assessments, and development of Individual Opportunity Plan (IOP)
- Maintain weekly engagement with participants (in\-person, virtual, and phone)
- Identify barriers to employment and connect participants to supportive services (transportation, childcare, etc.)
- Track attendance, participation, and progress; intervene with disengaged participants
- Deliver or support career readiness training (resume building, interviewing, workplace readiness)
- Prepare participants for employment in advanced manufacturing and related industries
- Assist participants with job search activities including applications, mock interviews, and job matching
- Ensure participants are prepared to earn and complete credentials (OSHA\-10, SACA, FANUC, NCCER, IC3, etc.)
- Coordinate with Business Development and employer partners to align participants with job opportunities
- Support interview scheduling and preparation
- Track employment outcomes including placements, wages, and retention (30/60/90/180 days)
- Maintain ongoing communication with both participants and employers post\-placement
- Enter all participant data, services, case notes, and outcomes into QuickBase, ARIES, and any required systems within 24 hours
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all data systems
- Complete detailed, meaningful weekly case notes reflecting participant progress and engagement
- Maintain participant files and documentation in compliance with program and funder requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Workforce Development, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in case management, workforce development, or career coaching
- Experience working with underserved populations and individuals with barriers to employment preferred
- Strong knowledge of job readiness, career pathways, and employment placement strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem\-solving skills
- Experience with data tracking systems (QuickBase, ARIES, or similar) preferred
- Relationship building and participant engagement
