- Develop new CCO ministry contexts by increasing the number of college campuses in the region where CCO has active ministry through creating additional CCO partnerships and full\-time, part\-time, bi\-vocational, and Catalyst Volunteer positions.
- Prioritize the development of church, university, and community partnerships to support campus ministry, while also advancing new ministry contexts in situations where a partnership is not immediately available.
- Cultivate new leads and networks for CCO establishing and documenting a growing number of potential church, university and community partner contacts through point of entry events, denominational gatherings, conducting Next Gen Workshops, or other events conducive to this purpose.
- Collaborates with the Regional Director to set annual goals for new CCO ministry development in line with CCO’s Strategic Plan.
- Priority is given to developing brand awareness and credibility for CCO with new and diverse networks of churches and universities. This diversity includes cultural diversity, denominational diversity, and institutional diversity (trade school, community college, HBCU, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and updated contact \& progress data on potential partner contacts in the CCO database tracking progress from interest, through discernment, to confirmation of a new CCO ministry context.
- Follow up promptly and directly with potential partner contacts walking them through the partnership discernment steps as outlined in the CCO’s Partner Playbook. Ensure progress with church, community or university leaders through prayer, discernment and decision making processes toward partnership commitment that includes securing sustainable partnership funding.
- Collaborates with CCO Talent Acquisition \& Mobilization department to propose new CCO positions and ensure successful collaboration with the Hiring Manager/CCO Supervisor following CCO hiring process and policy.
- Prepare partnership for sustainable partnership by Onboarding them to relationship with the CCO Supervisor and Engage Spaces for Staffing Partners.
- Collaborate with CCO area leaders and campus staff in the region to identify student leaders who may be called to future CCO staff or volunteer ministry roles.
- Participate as a member of the regional leadership team, with matrixed collaboration with the Regional Director and, where applicable, Area Directors.
- Support and contribute to regional events and gatherings such as Better Together, Cultivate, Leadership Together, and other regional trainings and initiatives.
- Pray regularly and frequently for the ministry of the CCO.
- Exceed 100% of support raising ministry goals.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 1\-3 years ministry related experience required
- Church, university or direct campus ministry experience preferred.
- Self\-disciplined with capacity to set goals and execute strategy with a large degree of trust and independence.
- Organization skills to manage multiple priorities, responsibilities and people in a timely manner.
- Communication skills to present CCO mission in a credible and compelling manner
- Collaborates with teams.
- Ability to engage a wide range of audiences.
- Nurture growth through regular worship in a local church, prayer, Scripture study, and other spiritual disciplines.
- Displays personal conduct consistent with CCO Statement of Faith, Core Values and the CCO employee handbook.
- Plan and pursue professional development opportunities approved by the department lead.

The Regional Developer serves with the Department of Strategic Partnerships to expand the mission of the CCO by growing a diverse network of potential church, university, and community partnerships. This position reports to the National Director for Strategic Partnerships. The Regional Developer will guide potential partners from interest, through discernment to committed partnership. Regional Development also involves securing partnership\-based funding and building pipelines of potential staff and volunteers. The Regional Developer will ensure the onboarding, support and successful launch of new ministry contexts that lead directly to a growing number of CCO ministries in the region.

+ Connects regional recruitment work with CCO Talent Acquisition and Mobilization processes to move recruits from interest to application and commitment.
