Job Overview: Abrams \& Company seeks a part\-time Administrative Assistant, who will report directly to, and be mentored by, the CEO, with the potential to work full\-time, with benefits. The ideal candidate is a college graduate, with honors (minimum, Cum Laude), and looking for quality career experience in the financial industry. Initial compensation for this position is $26\-$32 per hour based on experience, plus bonus and commission for new clients. Strong opportunity for growth, advancement and transition to full\-time work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create daily detailed remittance forms for each client
- Data entry for various financial information
- Assist with the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Organize and schedule meetings
- Develop and maintain filing system
- Take accurate minutes of meetings
- Book lodging \& travel arrangements
- Prepare and monitor invoices
- Maintain office supply supplies by checking stock; anticipating needed items; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
- Daily administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Provide general support and information to visitors by answering questions and requests
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Liaise with clients and handle client requests
- Join CEO on industry and prospecting calls
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential material and exercise appropriate judgement/discretion while anticipating needs of staff
- Experience acting as a problem solver who can multi\-task with ease
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Possess a sense of self\-direction, a strong sense of ownership, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Creative background desired but not required
