Job Summary:

LTC Rental Sales is seeking an Office Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent entry level position for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys a fast\-paced environment with a mix of indoor office work and local driving errands.

LTC Rental Sales is a specialized equipment supplier providing trucks, trailers, and additional support equipment to large scale projects across the United States. With the best rental equipment and support in the industry LTC Rental Sales strives to continue growth while maintaining the best customer experience in the industry.

The Office Assistant is a vital member of the LTC Rental Sales team, providing day\-to\-day administrative support and customer service. This role combines traditional office duties with frequent errand running to keep operations running smoothly and professionally. The Office Assistant handles everything from answering phones and greeting customers to managing mail, toll billing, shipping, office supplies, and team meals.

Essential Functions:

· Customer Service \& Front Desk Support: Greet walk\-in customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, answer and direct incoming phone calls, and provide general information about rentals, service, and branch operations.

· Administrative \& Document Management: Handle daily mail (incoming and outgoing), scan and file documents, process toll billing, and maintain organized digital and physical records according to company standards.

· Shipping \& Logistics Coordination: Schedule, prepare, and track FedEx and UPS shipments for parts, documents, and small equipment items.

· Office Supply \& Inventory Management: Order and maintain office supplies, breakroom items, and other necessary materials.

· Team Support \& Errands: Run frequent local errands including ordering and picking up lunch for the team, making coffee, and handling tax office, post\-office, or other errands as needed.

· General Office Operations: Keep the office, breakroom, and front area clean, organized, and professional. Assist with basic data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks to support the rental, service, and yard teams.

· Additional Duties: Perform other support tasks as assigned ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications \& Experience:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent.

· Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Reliable, professional, and customer\-service oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast\-paced environment.

· Previous office or administrative experience preferred

· Familiarity with basic office equipment (scanner, copier, multi\-line phone system).

· Experience with shipping software (FedEx/UPS) or toll\-billing systems.

Work Environment

  • This is a full\-time position with standard hours of 8 AM \- 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work during peak seasons and as required.
  • Office\-based role with significant time spent on local errands.
  • Physical Demands

    The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and drive.
