SCSD2 is seeking a kind, professional and dependable administrative assistant to join the Central Office team. This is a full\-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (office hours are shorter during summer months). This position will work 240 days per year and will receive 19 paid holidays, 12 paid sick leave days, 2 paid personal days, and 12 paid vacation days annually.

STARTING WAGE: $16\.56 \- $19\.56 per hour, depending on experienceQUALIFICATIONS:+ Ability to work independently with little supervision.
+ Ability to communicate clearly and work with people of various personalities.
+ Possess sound judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Possess good organizational and digital record keeping skills.
+ Ability to perform basic data entry and analysis to identify discrepancies.
+ Excellent time\-management skills with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
+ Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
+ Prior clerical experience is preferred but not required.
REPORTS TO: Business ManagerJOB GOAL: This position requires a detail\-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support the Business Office. This position will handle basic financial tasks, maintain accurate digital records, and provide administrative support to the business office team to ensure smooth operational workflow. This role requires high integrity, confidentiality, and proficiency in financial software and Google Suite.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Performs a wide variety of administrative duties as required by daily operations in the Business Office, including clerical and administrative work as directed.
+ Processes monthly accounts receivables including but not limited to Pre\-k, Staff Housing, propane fuels taxes and National School Lunch reimbursement requests.
+ Process Visa purchases including review of submissions, obtaining signatures, scanning and organizing documents, and retrieving information as requested.
+ Maintains and analyzes accounting, payroll and benefit related databases.
+ Prepares a variety of reports as requested by the Assistant Business Manager and/or Business Manager.
+ Scans and organizes a variety of digital documents including, but not limited to, bank reconciliations, invoices, W\-9's, and cash receipts.
+ Assists with maintaining time management software, including but not limited to, system changes, system maintenance, substitute and time management training, technical support, and troubleshooting other system related issues.
+ Responds in a timely and courteous manner to phone calls, e\-mails, and walk\-in visitors.
+ Responds directly to department requests, comments, and correspondence when appropriate; routes issues to the appropriate staff member when follow\-up is required.
+ Performs administrative support for department projects such as annual audits or state and payroll related reports.
+ Serves as a back\-up to accounts payable processing.
+ Maintains high levels of confidentiality regarding district financials and all employee, student, and parent information.
+ Performs other duties of a similar nature and completes special projects as assigned by the Business Manager.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Employment relationship with the District is at will and of indefinite duration. Salary and fringe benefits to be set by the Board of Trustees.
