Join our dedicated wildlife care team as a Wildlife Care Assistant and Admissions Operator! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming wildlife and domestic animals, ensuring their safe and compassionate intake while supporting their ongoing care. Qualifications and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
· Basic computer proficiency (data entry, Microsoft Office or similar)
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment
· Interest in wildlife conservation and wildlife required
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
· Ability to lift and carry up to 30\-50 lbs.
· Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
· Able to handle physically demanding and sometimes messy tasks
Schedule \& Availability
- Flexible availability required, including weekends and holidays
- Paid time off
Must have a current driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, a good driving record and be able to operate/drive the animal ambulance to and from rescue, release and education sites throughout southern Arizona.
Must have current tetanus. Pre\-exposure rabies vaccines is a plus.
Pay: $17\.00 per hour
