This isn’t your typical CFO role. Yes, you’ll lead all Finance and Accounting functions across the United States, but you’ll also be at the center of the action partnering closely with leadership to spot opportunities, structure deals, and help us creatively find and deploy capital for mergers and acquisitions. - This position requires a BA in accounting or related field with five or more years accounting and supervisory experience required.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Banking experience and Mergers and Acquisition experience is a plus.
- Must be able to facilitate team building up and down the chain of command, change management, conflict resolution, and self\-discovery.
- Knowledge of accounting laws and regulations is necessary.
- The ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on financial issues is required.
- Effective oral and written communications and presentation skills are essential, as are interpersonal skills.

Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will direct and oversee the financial activities of the corporation, direct preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. All financial staff will ultimately report to this position. The CFO will lead activities to ensure financial success across business lines. The CFO will work closely with business unit directors and managers to set financial goals and will take an active role in achieving those goals. This position is responsible for analyzing acquisition opportunities, assisting with acquisition negotiations, as well as managing the business unit accounting, audit, tax, finance, and financial reporting functions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Build high performing teams. Attract, hire, develop and train teams of high performing finance, purchasing and IT experts. Set and measure performance expectations for all positions and for the organization as a whole. Replace and upgrade talent as needed. Build a solid bench of successors in key roles.
* Build a vision. Develop, maintain, and communicate a strategic vision that ensures short and long\-term financial health of the organization while delivering cost effective shared services.
* Oversee execution. Be the primary executive responsible for all key financial and shared services activities of the organization including procedures to assure the company is ‘fraud free’; AR; AP; payroll; the 401K Savings Plan; employee benefit insurances and general business insurances, purchasing and IT. Oversee annual budget preparation, annual audits, and tax preparations.
* Financial leadership. Create and disseminate regular financial statements which report the financial transactions and health of the organization. Educate key stakeholders of the financial and operating performance metrics. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders while setting and maintaining clear expectations for all financial relationships.
* Oversee IT leadership. Create and maintain cost effective IT systems that help the organization deliver its brand promise to be mobility and traffic experts.
* Nurture a culture of accountability. Create clarity and purpose for individuals, functional departments, shared resources, and cross functional work groups. Establish norms whereby individuals hold themselves and others accountable for results.
* Due Diligence in Acquisition process. Supervise acquisition process alongside business unit managers to ensure a smooth transition.
