- plays a critical role within the Technical Operations Center team, serving as the primary point of contact for all Tier 2 customer support across product offerings. This position is responsible for delivering world\-class customer service by ensuring efficient and timely resolution of escalated cases. As a key escalation resource, this role provides expert guidance and mentorship to Tier 1, fostering a collaborative and high\-performing support environment.
- Serve as an escalation point for Level II issues, working independently to resolve complex technical problems.
- Mentor Support Agents by providing guidance and skill development opportunities.
- Handle overflow customer calls, acting as a subject matter expert and ensuring accurate trouble ticket documentation.
- Participate in special projects and assignments as directed by leadership.
- Administrative experience in 2 or more of the following technology areas: Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, etc.). Hypervisors: Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi, KVM Data Protection: Commvault, Zerto, Acronis, Cohesity, or other Backup/DR technologies. Public Clouds: Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services, Google. CloudTools: Monitoring or Security platforms
- Availability to consult, assist and/or perform after\-hours support and participate in on\-call rotations.
- Experience in a data center, service provider, or telecom environment
- Certifications in Cloud, Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, Storage, and VDI strongly preferred
- Associate's degree or 2\+ Years Professional Experience
- Must be able to achieve CJIS certification within introductory period of employment.
