Role Summary
BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND CHINESE REQUIRED
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, pricing, and commercial execution. The Technical Commercial Manager, Pricing modeling \& Engineering role is responsible for driving pricing and margin analysis, translating technical requirements into commercial decisions, and serving as a key interface between U.S. sales teams and China\-based engineering teams.
This is not a coordination or support role. This position owns pricing insights, contributes to margin expansion, and ensures technical and commercial alignment across functions.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing \& Margin Ownership
· Develop, maintain, and improve pricing models across product lines
· Conduct detailed margin analysis and provide clear pricing recommendations
· Support strategic pricing decisions with data\-driven insights
· Identify opportunities to improve profitability across key accounts and programs
Technical \& Engineering Interface
· Serve as the primary interface between U.S. teams and China\-based engineering groups
· Translate technical specifications into commercial implications (cost, feasibility, lead time)
· Engage directly with design teams on electromechanical components and product requirements
· Ensure alignment between customer requirements and engineering capabilities
Forecasting \& Commercial Intelligence
· Extract and analyze monthly marketing forecasting data
· Translate forecasts into actionable insights for sales teams
· Support demand planning and identify risks or opportunities in the pipeline
Cross\-Functional Leadership
· Lead coordination for automotive and key strategic programs
· Drive clarity and accountability across engineering, sales, and operations
· Facilitate technical\-commercial discussions and ensure decisions move forward efficiently
Executive Support (Strategic, Not Administrative)
· Support the VP of Engineering \& Transportation Sales with high\-quality analysis and recommendations
· Reduce executive involvement in day\-to\-day pricing and coordination decisions
· Provide structured insights to support business and product strategy
Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
· 3–7 years of experience in an engineering, technical sales, or commercial analysis role
· Strong understanding of electromechanical components and engineering fundamentals
· Demonstrated experience in pricing, cost analysis, or margin management
· Ability to communicate effectively across technical and commercial audiences
· Must write and speak Mandarin and English well
Preferred
· Experience working with international teams, particularly in China
· Exposure to automotive, industrial, or energy markets
· Familiarity with forecasting models and demand planning

· Pricing decisions are supported by clear, structured analysis
· Margin improvement opportunities are identified and acted upon
· Communication between U.S. teams and Chinese engineering is efficient and reliable
· Monthly forecasting insights are consistently delivered and used by sales
· Reduced dependency on VP for pricing, coordination, and technical\-commercial alignment
Travel Requirements
· Up to 25% domestic travel
· Limited international travel as needed (including China)
Pay: $80,000\.00 \- $95,000\.00 per year
