Responsibilities
- Greet families warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly.
- Manage multi\-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills.
- Maintain organized filing systems, including digital records using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
- Handle data entry, proofread documents, and perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
- Support office management tasks including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and intake/outtake of personal effects.
- Assist with customer service inquiries via phone or email, providing accurate information and support.
- Coordinate office supplies inventory and ensure the workspace remains tidy and efficient.
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
- Proficiency in TXEVER (Texas Electronic Death Certificate)
- Excellent computer literacy with the ability to quickly adapt to new software or tools.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve diverse clients and staff.
- Experience with front desk operations, including managing multi\-line phone systems and visitor check\-ins.
- Knowledge of funeral procedures is a plus; familiarity with office management software such as NetSuite is beneficial.
