Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will serve as the first point of contact, handling multi\-line phone systems, greeting guests, and supporting various office management functions. Responsibilities

  • Greet families warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly.
  • Manage multi\-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, including digital records using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Handle data entry, proofread documents, and perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
  • Support office management tasks including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and intake/outtake of personal effects.
  • Assist with customer service inquiries via phone or email, providing accurate information and support.
  • Coordinate office supplies inventory and ensure the workspace remains tidy and efficient.
  • Skills

  • Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
  • Proficiency in TXEVER (Texas Electronic Death Certificate)
  • Excellent computer literacy with the ability to quickly adapt to new software or tools.
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve diverse clients and staff.
  • Experience with front desk operations, including managing multi\-line phone systems and visitor check\-ins.
  • Knowledge of funeral procedures is a plus; familiarity with office management software such as NetSuite is beneficial.
