Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly\-organized and adaptable House Manager and Dog Assistant to support our CEO in keeping the dog comfortable and cared for, the house in order, and running errands. The goal of this role is to free up the CEO from personal and professional tasks. Truly, anything you can take off his hands. Think concierge\-level service at home.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience caring for an elderly dog, be extremely detail\-oriented, and have the ability to handle a fast\-paced environment with professionalism and efficiency. Autonomy and decision\-making skills are key. The CEO works in a home office. Responsibilities will include a mix of time in the home office and outside of the home office (running errands).
Responsibilities:
- Providing care and assistance for the CEO's elderly dog, including feeding, walks, and veterinarian appointments (if needed).
- Flexibility and the desire to succeed in the primary objective of taking anything you can off of the CEO's plate.
- Providing administrative support to the CEO, including managing calendars and emails, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations for business trips and conferences.
- Assisting with personal tasks such as managing appointments, organizing events, running errands, grocery trips, and food preparation.
- Handling personal tasks such as shopping, product returns, managing personal subscriptions, and other various personal errands.
- Basic office tasks including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining files.
- Utilizing Microsoft Office or Google Docs Suite for document creation, editing, and organization.
- Assisting with light business tasks such as research, preparing presentations, and coordinating projects.
- Light cleaning/pickup. A regular cleaning crew is already established weekly.
- Extremely detail\-oriented. Unlikely to succeed if you are forgetful or disorganized.
- A high\-level of autonomy and the ability to be resourceful and make logical decisions vs. seeking direction.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to close loops (keep the CEO informed or seek direction when needed).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the CEO and company effectively.
- Comfort in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Proven experience caring for an elderly dog.
- Experience as a personal assistant or similar role, preferably in a fast\-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends would be ideal, but is not required. (Remote \& In\-Person). *Holidays would be paid at a rate of time and a half, or if unavailable, you must find adequate dog care coverage for the holiday.*
