Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai is an authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant from Japan. We have been in business for more than 30 years and operate 70\+ restaurants in Japan and the USA.
Our expansion into the US began in 2014 when we opened our first location in Costa Mesa, CA. Since our opening, we have received great feedback and support from many customers and have been fortunate to open several more locations with more planned soon. As we continue our expansion, we need enthusiastic people with good energy who genuinely enjoy making people smile!!

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and ensure efficient administrative processes. This role is essential in maintaining organization, communication, and coordination across departments while handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage general office operations and administrative functions to support business needs
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone messages, and internal communications
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Maintain and organize confidential records and sensitive information with discretion
- Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and personnel data management
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and support interdepartmental communication
- Support POS system administration, including menu updates, pricing changes, and basic troubleshooting for store locations
- Assist with menu maintenance, item configuration, and coordination with operations teams
- Perform receptionist duties as needed, including greeting visitors and managing front desk activities
- Conduct basic research and compile information to support business decisions
- Operate and maintain office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and phone systems
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and open enrollment
- Support employee communications, engagement initiatives, and recognition programs
- Perform additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record\-keeping and data entry
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
