Lotis Environmental, LLC is hiring a NEPA Administrative Assistant to support our growing NEPA practice. This is a fully remote, full\-time position open to candidates based in or near Spokane, WA. You'll work directly alongside a dedicated Project Lead who is also local to Spokane — making in\-person onboarding, training, and occasional check\-ins easy and accessible.
This role is built for someone who is organized, dependable, and takes real pride in getting the details right. No prior NEPA experience required — we provide full training and set you up for success from day one.

What You'll Do
- Pull, review, and organize maps and project data with a high degree of accuracy
- Prepare and submit documents to government agencies, tribes, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate legal public notices
- Communicate with tribal and government agencies as directed
- Track, sort, and manage incoming correspondence and agency responses
- Maintain organized records and filing systems
- Perform data entry and manage information packages
- Support your Project Lead proactively — flagging issues early and keeping things moving without being asked
- Take ownership of your work and follow through without needing constant reminders
- Communicate proactively — you give updates, flag problems early, and ask questions before things go sideways
- Are highly organized and genuinely bothered when details slip through the cracks
- Work well within clear processes and structure, and help improve them over time
- Stay calm and steady under deadline pressure
- Prefer a collaborative, low\-drama work environment where the goal is just to do good work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy is everything in this role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
- Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and stay organized
- Prior experience in an administrative or project support role
- Familiarity with environmental consulting, NEPA, or regulatory processes (helpful but not required — we train!)
- $18\.00–$22\.00/hour, based on experience

* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; flexible hours negotiable
* Location: Remote — candidates must be based in or near Spokane, WA
* In\-Person: Occasional meetings with your local Project Lead as needed
