Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Sonographer to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Washington, DC.

* Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 11:45 AM and 2 holidays per year

* Compensation: $35\+ per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Sonographer will:

  • Perform detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology
  • Make necessary measurements \& calculations
  • Document results utilizing our electronic medical records
  • Establish personal rapport with patients
  • Provide explanations of procedures

    We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.

    Qualifications and Skills Include:

  • Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS
  • RDMS/RVT required
  • Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
  • Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job
  • Prior experience with fertility patients strongly preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health
