Purpose:To assist the Chief Financial Officer in efficiently handling district funds, including but not limited to district fees, to serve as the Food Service Representative for the district, and to assist in maintaining the district inventory.
Qualifications:+ Bachelor's degree pertaining to business preferred, equivalent experience and qualifications will be considered
+ Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
+ Attend scheduled meetings and conferences as requested
+ Maintain a high level of confidentiality and have good communication skills
+ Ability to work in a fast\-paced, high\-intensive work environment
+ Pass physical examination
+ Have such other qualifications, as the district may find appropriate and acceptable

Performance Responsibilities:+ Work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, administrators and public in order to support the food service program and district fees.
+ Make any and all cash deposits and remote deposit processing
+ Post receipts and process any coding corrections
+ Run and balance receipt journals
+ Manage insufficient check processing \& Fee Collection
+ District processing of student withdrawals/refunds
+ Administer Child Nutrition Program (CNP) and process applications
+ Maintain KCAN systems for KSDE/CNP reporting \& claims
+ Maintain food service software program and SIS software for CNP \& district fees
+ Maintain district processes for food service procurement and meal charge policy
+ Assist in reconciling Food Service daily/weekly receipts
+ Assist with Audit of Food Service sites per State guidelines
+ Assist in weekly food service receipts/reports
+ Stay abreast of changes in the Food Service regulations
+ District Liaison to Food Service Management Company (FSMC)
+ Coordinate \& maintain district wide inventory process and records
+ Assist with Federal/State required wellness policy
+ Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing, squatting, kneeling, fingering or otherwise working with fingers, and moving light furniture may be required.
Work Environment: The employee must be able to work within various degrees of noise, temperature, and air quality. Interruptions of work are routine. The employee must be alert and able to meet deadlines. Flexibility and patience are required. The employee must be self\-motivated and able to complete job assignments without direct supervision. Overtime work may occasionally be required. The employee must be able to get along with co\-workers and supervisors. The employee must be able to work under stressful conditions and for long periods of time.
Terms of Employment: Hourly rate and schedule to be established by the Board. Starting salary of $\_\_\_\_ per hr. with additional adjustments based on experience qualifications.
