Looking for a FUN and REWARDING temporary summer position where you can help children with Autism better understand and maintain social skills through a fun and positive, summer camp\-like experience?
The Social Beginnings (SB) Site Coordinator’s key responsibilities are administrative oversight, resource support and therapeutic coverage. They’ll work closely with the SB Operations team to manage daily operations of the Summer Program and serve as a liaison between the third\-party site director and SB Team. The SB Site Coordinator will serve as a key resource for staff, visitors and families. The Site Coordinator’s secondary responsibility is the execution of 1:1 therapeutic services for clients during times of transition and to provide coverage when needed. It is expected that SB Site Coordinator acts as model employees throughout the organization, while living out the Pledge of Care. The SB Site Coordinator position is a temporary role to assist in the administrative needs of Social Beginnings throughout the duration of the Summer program Location \& Schedule:
This is a temporary full\-time position and hours of work and days are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:45am \- 4:00 pm. The first week of employment will be dedicated to training prior to the start of the summer program.* Location: Columbia, MD

Compensation:
- $22\.00 \- $24\.00 per hour based on experience and certifications
- Support company operations by maintaining office and SB systems, including Procare, Central Reach and HiRasmus.
- Contribute to SB morale through the support of staff and implementation of SB activities.
- Establish and maintain effective communication systems supporting professional team relationships.
- Serve as a liaison between the third\-party staff, all outside vendors, including but not limited to maintenance.
- Provide 1:1 therapeutic ABA services.
- Accurately document billed services, including keeping records of session dates and times, description of services provided, and additional documentation as assigned
- Maintain general upkeep and appearance of the leased space.
- Answer questions and provide follow up for staff, families, and visitors.
- Serve as a day to day resource for staff across admin functions to ensure smooth sessions and daily operations.
- Implement processes for inventory control.
- Follow the policies and procedures of Verbal Beginnings, LLC
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Psychology or a related field, such as Education or Speech Therapy, preferred.
- 6\+ months experience working with children, or equivalent college credits completed in a related degree program.
- BLS or equivalent CPR certification, including pediatric (must have in\-person component \- cannot be fully remote CPR) or a commitment to complete and show proof prior to one’s start date.
- Previous experience with or knowledge of individuals with ASD and ABA therapy is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and support both administrative duties and client coverage as needed
- Positive attitude and passion to help children with developmental disabilities
- Reliable transportation
