We’re seeking a warm, driven, and ethically grounded Associate Therapist (LCSWA) to provide in\-person therapy to adult clients. This W\-2 position is ideal for early\-career clinicians who want structured support, consistent referrals, and a space to develop their clinical voice. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and management services to clients in distress.
- Implement evidence\-based therapeutic techniques, including behavioral therapy and mental health counseling.
- Provide in\-person outpatient therapy to adult clients
- Maintain timely documentation
- Commit to a consistent weekly schedule and maintain clinical availability
- Collaborate with practice staff on scheduling and coordination
- Participate in team consultations and support initiatives
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards under North Carolina licensure laws
- Strong foundational knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
- Ability to conduct clinical assessments and formulate appropriate interventions
- Proficiency in delivering evidence\-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, mindfulness)
- Ability to build therapeutic rapport with diverse adult populations
- Accurate and timely documentation of session notes, treatment plans, and progress
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to client confidentiality
- Ability to follow ethical guidelines set by the NASW and North Carolina licensure board
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with admin staff, clinical supervisors, and peers
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a team environment
- Ability to manage a consistent caseload and adhere to session schedules
- Dependability in maintaining recurring appointments and follow\-ups
- Strong organizational skills to manage paperwork and case responsibilities
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., SimplePractice preferred)
- Basic computer literacy (email, file management, secure messaging)
- Ability to complete telehealth sessions if needed for backup or weather\-related changes
