We are a fast\-growing national pavement maintenance company looking for a highly organized, detail\-oriented Scheduling \& Operations Coordinator to support our team.
This is a part\-time role (approx. 25–30 hours/week) focused on phone communication, scheduling, and follow\-ups with subcontractors and customers.
You will work directly with our scheduling manager and operations team to help keep jobs moving efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
This role is split into three main responsibilities:
1\. Scheduling \& Subcontractor Coordination (50%)
- Call subcontractors to schedule jobs
- Coordinate availability between crews and job sites
- Communicate with store/location managers to confirm scheduling
- Help ensure jobs are booked quickly and efficiently
- Make follow\-up calls on open quotes (3\-day, 5\-day check\-ins)
- Help move jobs forward by staying on top of subcontractors
- Work closely with our operations team to reduce delays
- Assist with miscellaneous operational tasks for owner
- Help with trade show coordination and light project support
- Take on overflow tasks to support leadership and scheduling team
- Strong communication skills (clear, confident, professional)
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Reliable and responsive—this role is critical to daily operations
- Customer\-service mindset with a problem\-solving attitude
- Previous experience in scheduling, dispatch, or coordination is a plus
- High daily call activity (subcontractors \& customers)
- Jobs getting scheduled faster
- Quotes moving forward with consistent follow\-up
- Strong support to the scheduling and operations team
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 5–6 hour shifts
- Pay: $22–$25/hour (based on experience)
