    Duties

  • You will serve as a local authority for planning, managing, evaluating, and directing the execution of the test program.
  • You will ensure proper systems integration and interface requirements are satisfied during shipyard tests program and post\-delivery testing period.
  • You will direct and lead assignments and tasking for the group related to test program including specifications, technical manuals, test procedures, problem reports, and inspection reports.
  • You will coordinate the establishment of integrated product teams (IPTs) to facilitate development of objectives and goals associated with test execution on AEGIS ships.
  • You will define team goals and objectives and assist the team in managing work assignments.
  • You will participate in sea trials and all sea trial preparation.
  • You will interpret and clarify system program plans, quality assurance requirements, test procedures, and contractual documentation for system performance compliance, quality and completeness.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre\-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • ### Qualifications

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS\-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical direction or guidance in the resolution of AEGIS Combat Systems (ACS) or Ship Self Defense Systems (SSDS) testing to ensure effective execution of test program.
