Job Summary

Insurance Specialists of the South Inc. is hiring a Data Entry Clerk for a part\-time remote role supporting daily recordkeeping and administrative work across a multi\-line insurance agency. This position focuses on entering and updating customer information, quote request details, policy\-related records, billing notes, and internal tracking logs with accuracy and consistency. We welcome dependable candidates who are organized, comfortable working with digital systems, and willing to learn. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and update customer contact information, policy details, and account records in agency systems
  • Record quote request details for auto, home, business, life, and health insurance inquiries
  • Review forms and records for missing fields, duplicate entries, and basic data errors
  • Update internal logs for renewals, follow\-up items, billing notes, and document receipt
  • Upload, name, and organize digital files so records stay complete and easy to review
  • Keep spreadsheets and shared tracking tools current
  • Route incomplete records or service requests to the correct team member for follow\-up
  • Maintain accuracy while handling routine data tasks across shared systems
  • Protect confidential customer and company information at all times
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, including email, web\-based systems, and spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow written instructions and stay organized
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Previous data entry, office support, customer service, or administrative experience is helpful, but not required
  • Paid training is provided for candidates who show reliability, professionalism, and willingness to learn
