Medical Laboratory Scientist \- Clinical Lab at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is full\-time and will work 8\-hour, Day shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director of the Laboratory, performs accurate analysis of laboratory specimens. Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency and understanding in laboratory procedures in one or more sections of the Pathology Department or demonstrates competency in three or more sections, to facilitate quality patient care and diagnosis. Participates in solution of technical problems requiring a great degree of independent judgment and assists in development of testing in the assigned section(s). Participates in training and teaching responsibilities of the department.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Clinical Laboratory Science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Biology), or a related Life Science
- Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California
- Hospital laboratory experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on\-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
