Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team at Horizon Dental Designs! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk, providing exceptional service to patients, and supporting administrative functions. About The Practice
- Dr. Ferraro bought the practice in 2022 after graduating from dental school at The Ohio State University
- The practice was completely renovated with a fresh modern design in 2024
- Our hours are Monday\-Thursday 7:00 am\-2:30 pm. We do a quick morning huddle at 6:50 am.
- We work one Friday a month 7:00am \- 11:00 am. These dates are typically given close to a year in advance. We add some optional additional Friday's if you choose!
- We are privately owned and no management or DSO's have a hand in our operations or treatment of patients
- Uniform is black scrubs

- Greet patients and visitors warmly as they arrive at the office.
- Manage patient check\-in and check\-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for dental services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans using Eaglesoft software.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance information.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Entering Insurance payments (checks \+ digital Zelis Payments) and sending EOBs
- Sending and uploading pre\-authorizations into patients chart
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times.
- Place delivered lab cases in back and note their arrival on patient's appointment notes
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and enhance overall patient experience.
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and care plans is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar practice management software is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient base.
