JPosition Summary

New Hampshire Home Care Providers is seeking a highly organized and dependable Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations, maintain personnel documentation, and assist with compliance in a growing healthcare organization.

This role is designed as a development position with a structured path to Human Resources Manager. The successful candidate will begin by mastering core HR functions and, based on performance, transition into a leadership role with expanded responsibility.

Growth Path

This role includes a defined advancement track:

* 6–9 months: Increased responsibility and compensation review

* 9–12 months: Eligibility for promotion to HR Manager (salaried) based on performance

    Reports directly to the Administrator.

    May transition to supervisory responsibilities upon promotion.

    Core Responsibilities (Phase 1 – Coordinator Role)

    Recruiting \& Onboarding

  • Assist with recruiting, screening, and scheduling interviews
  • Prepare new hire documentation and onboarding materials
  • Ensure all required employment documentation is complete and accurate
  • Personnel File Management

  • Maintain organized and compliant personnel records
  • Track required documents, certifications, and updates
  • Ensure files meet regulatory and audit standards
  • Compliance \& Audit Support

  • Assist in maintaining continuous
  • survey readiness

  • Prepare documentation for audits, licensing reviews, and inspections
  • Reinforce adherence to HIPAA and company policies
  • Training \& Documentation

  • Track employee training and in\-service requirements
  • Assist with coordination of training schedules and documentation
  • Communication \& Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for HR\-related inquiries
  • Communicate clearly with staff regarding documentation and processes
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Expanded Responsibilities (Phase 2 – Manager Track)

    Upon demonstrated readiness, responsibilities will expand to include:

  • Supervising HR Coordinators and administrative staff
  • Leading recruiting and hiring processes
  • Managing employee relations and initial grievance resolution
  • Overseeing compliance and audit readiness
  • Assisting with policy implementation and process improvement
  • Coordinating annual training and in\-service planning
  • Participating in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives
  • Qualifications

    Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum
  • 1 year of HR, administrative, or related experience

  • Strong organizational and attention\-to\-detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional communication skills
  • Must pass Criminal Background Check and BEAS Registry Check
  • Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare or home care setting
  • Familiarity with compliance, documentation, or regulated environments
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory potential
  • Functional Abilities / Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read standard 12\-point font or larger
  • Ability to hear, speak, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform desk\-based work for extended periods
  • Work Environment

    This role operates in a structured office environment within a healthcare organization. The position requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and adherence to regulatory standards.

    What Success Looks Like in This Role

    Within the first 90 days:

  • Personnel files are accurate, organized, and audit\-ready
  • Onboarding processes are completed efficiently
  • Documentation tracking is consistent and reliable
  • Within 6–12 months:

  • Ability to operate independently
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative
  • Readiness to assume HR Manager responsibilities
  • Pay: From $24\.00 per hour
