We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Full time or Part Time. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment, including medication management/brief psychotherapy, for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions. The role includes working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, comprehensive mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
  • Diagnose mental health disorders based on DSM\-5 criteria.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
  • Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychiatric medications in accordance with state laws and clinical guidelines.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and primary care providers to coordinate care.
  • Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate and timely medical records.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
  • Provide crisis intervention or referral to emergency services as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Qualifications:

  • Candidates with an established referral network or existing client base are highly preferred, as this role offers the opportunity to grow and shape a developing caseload.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatry.
  • Current and unrestricted APRN license in North Carolina.
  • Current and unrestricted RN license in North Carolina.
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP\-BC).
  • Valid DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
  • 1\+ years of clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health care necessary.
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision\-making skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems.

  • 50% profit split (Part\-Time)
  • Up to 70% profit split (Full\-Time)
