About the Role
Paid canvassers are at the heart of people\-powered campaigns! You'll go door\-to\-door, talk to neighbors, and share why electing candidates who prioritize amplifying the needs of Binghamton's greatest needs is essential to bringing real accountability and process back to Binghamton.is
Responsibilities
- Knock doors and have one\-on\-one conversations with voters about candidates priorities
- Work with the team to meet weekly voter contact goals
- Accurately record data and voter feedback in MiniVAN (training provided)
- Follow assigned schedules and communicate promptly with team leads
- Attend trainings and team meetings
- Represent the campaign respectfully and energetically in the community
- Strong communicator and active listener
- Dependable and self\-motivated
- Passionate about community change and social justice
- Works well independently
- Comfortable walking and engaging outdoors for several hours a day
- Reliable transportation is preferred but not required
- Transferable campaign experience
