The New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute provides care to New Mexicans across six different divisions including hospital level inpatient psychiatric care for both civil and forensic commitments, residential treatment for adolescents, outpatient care for people with behavioral health disorders, detox and residential substance use treatment, and skilled/long\-term care. As the largest behavioral health complex in the state, inpatient/residential care is provided to over 250 New Mexicans every day, along with 400 outpatient clients a month. There are over 600 employees across all the divisions of NMBHI to ensure high\-quality treatment and care is delivered.

Why does the job exist?
The position exists to provide front line administrative and customer service support within the admission and office operations. This role is essential for managing incoming phone calls, assistant the public, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
How does it get done?
The position requires strong organizational and data entry skills to maintain accurate records and support daily operations. The position plays a key role in public relations by coordinating tours, engaging with community members and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective communication

Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and three (3\) months experience working in a hospital setting using medical terminology, processing and maintaining a medical records system, and/or use of Microsoft Office programs and hospital clinical software. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3\) months may substitute for the required experience.

Working Conditions
This position will work in an office setting, computer and phone usage. The work is performed in a long\-term care facility.
