Position Summary:

The Director of Project Management provides executive\-level leadership over Digital Scoreboards’ project execution function, overseeing all Project Managers and Operations Assistants. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, scalable, and profitable delivery of projects across the organization through strong systems, standards, and accountability.

While the primary focus of this position is team leadership and portfolio oversight rather than day\-to\-day project execution, the Director of Project Management may personally oversee select, high\-profile, complex, or strategically significant projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for all Project Managers and Operations Assistants.
  • Establish and continuously improve project management standards, workflows, tools, and documentation used across the organization.
  • Maintain oversight of the full project portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer and company expectations.
  • Monitor project performance, margins, risks, and resource capacity; proactively address issues and escalations.
  • Hold Project Managers accountable for execution quality, timelines, communication, and client satisfaction within their regions or portfolios.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client situations, operational risks, or cross\-functional challenges.
  • Partner cross\-functionally with other departments to ensure strong handoffs and alignment.
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency within the project delivery organization.
  • Personally manage select high\-visibility or strategically important projects when business needs require senior\-level ownership.
  • Qualifications:

  • 7\+ years of experience in project management, operations, or a related leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading managers and overseeing multi\-project portfolios.
  • Background in construction, AV, technology installations, or other project\-based environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, standardize, and scale project management processes.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Monday.com preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, including frequent use of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites, vendor locations, or installation environments.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and navigate active job sites when needed.
  • Ability to climb ladders, access elevated structures, and work safely around construction or installation equipment on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment or approved remote setting. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets may be used. Occasional travel or extended hours may be required depending on business needs.

Compensation \& Benefits Disclosure

For positions performed in Illinois, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, the Company will include the pay range and a general description of benefits in all job postings in compliance with applicable state laws. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range: $120,000 \- $140,000 annually plus bonus.
