Job Description: Employee Benefits Account Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits team. This individual will focus on servicing group benefits accounts and supporting clients with their Health and Life insurance needs. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail\-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- The lead in managing allocated accounts’ day\-to\-day servicing of benefits; including renewals, enrollments, terminations and other applicable items that arise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of plan documents and communications.
- Work with multiple insurance carriers and third\-party administrators (TPAs) to resolve issues and ensure timely policy issuance.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve billing and direct employers on where employees can submit claims issues.
- Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date records in the agency management system.
- Stay current on industry trends, compliance requirements, and product offerings.
- Active Life \& Health insurance license.
- 1\+ years of experience in an employee benefits account management role.
- Strong knowledge of group benefits products including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with industry software and Microsoft Office Suite, experience with HubSpot CRM and/or tickets is a plus.
- Client\-first mindset with a proactive and problem\-solving attitude.
- Comfortable educating clients and providing hands\-on enrollment support.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment.
