Senior Salesforce Developer
Service Cloud \_ Community Cloud Public Sector Solutions *\_ Systems Integration*
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our growing team. This is a high\-impact, hands\-on role focused on building and integrating systems that connect our internally\-developed platform with client\-facing Salesforce environments. You will be a key technical contributor working across Service Cloud, Experience (Community) Cloud, and — ideally — Public Sector Solutions, with a strong emphasis on API\-driven integrations and cross\-platform design.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing APEX and designing integration architecture as they are collaborating with stakeholders and communicating complex technical decisions to non\-technical audiences. This role is part of a lean, agile team where your voice matters and your impact will be visible.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build integration solutions that connect our internally\-built platform with client Salesforce orgs, using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and webhooks
- Architect and implement solutions across Service Cloud and Experience (Community) Cloud, with a focus on scalability and maintainability
- Apply Public Sector Solutions (PSS) best practices where applicable, including licensing, compliance workflows, and constituent management
- Develop and maintain APEX classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows to support integration logic and business processes
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data and integration issues across Salesforce and third\-party systems
- Collaborate with internal engineers and client technical teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable, well\-documented integration points
- Evaluate when to use declarative tools vs. programmatic approaches, ensuring long\-term sustainability of the codebase
- Communicate technical designs, risks, and trade\-offs clearly to both technical peers and non\-technical stakeholders
- 8\+ years of Salesforce development experience, with proven hands\-on coding ability (not just declarative/admin work)
- Deep experience with Service Cloud, including case management, entitlements, omni\-channel, and service console customization
- Hands\-on Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) development, including custom components, templates, and member visibility rules
- Strong proficiency in APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, and REST/SOAP API integrations
- Demonstrated experience designing and building system\-to\-system integrations — connecting Salesforce to external platforms via APIs, webhooks, or middleware
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, governor limits, security model, and deployment best practices (CI/CD, version control)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and client stakeholders effectively
- Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) — including OmniStudio, FlexCards, and constituent or case management for government contexts
- Background working with or delivering solutions to public sector or government clients
- Familiarity with OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity) DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and OmniScripts
- Experience in a startup or high\-growth consulting environment where adaptability and autonomy are essential
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant, or Experience Cloud Consultant
- High\-visibility role where your technical decisions directly shape product direction
- Work at the intersection of product engineering and client delivery — no siloed development
- Small, collaborative team with a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Opportunity to influence architecture from the ground up as we scale
