Position Summary
Reservoir Engineer position responsible for maintaining division or company reserve bookings, including new reserves, possibly within an area of assigned responsibility. Recommends exploration and production opportunities through the evaluation of risk considerations and economic aspects of the division or company. Forecasts future product sales and revenues related to reserve fields. Generates and maintains updated project economics. Leads projects and/or act in a liaison capacity between other departments, divisions, or outside organizations.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of the year\-end and mid\-year Division or Company Reserve Report. Coordinate reserve bookings, including PDP's forecast revisions, PUD type curves, Additions / Extensions through review of probable and possible reserves with corporate planning and incorporation of those reserves in the corporate long\-range plan.
- Present analyses and provide activity updates to external auditors. Prepare support documentation and data for analysis of LOE, GPT, Shrinks/Yields, potential PUD booking, capital for external auditors review.
- Provide reservoir engineering support for operational review with division management and participate in field level reviews to identify production and operational issues needing attention.
- Assist in the evaluation of business development opportunities including possible M\&A activity, basin analyses, US supply / demand analysis, and/or marketing agreements. Provide support to the exploration team in assessing new prospects.
- Provides technical support for sophisticated economic evaluations, such as PVT behavior, rock mechanics issues, and fluid flow in ultra\-low perm reservoirs.
- Mentor and deliver training courses to in\-house engineers on theory and practice of production data analysis (PDA) and pressure transient analysis (PTA) by using specialized software products such as Whitson, S\&P Global platform, or other applicable software.
- Manage technical analyses of joint research studies conducted with consultants, universities and government entities.

Requirements:
Minimum Education \- Bachelors in Engineering; Petroleum Engineering preferred.
Minimum Experience \- 6\+ years of experience with a Bachelors; 4 years of experience with a Masters
