Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE to work minimal supervision, provide essential administrative and business support services within the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. These may include budget maintenance, personnel processing, policy communication, facilities and space management, database and file management, office and clinic management, or patient flow management. Coordinate programmatic activities and functions. Conduct special projects related to office administrative operations under the direction of a supervisor. Maintain vendor relationships and interface with internal and external constituencies. May offer confidential secretarial or office support for department chairs, division directors, deans, or other organizational leaders. Typically supervise clerical and secretarial staff. Assist in preparing and submitting grants. Responsible for equipment and furniture repairs. Support grants and contracts administration. Prepare financial reports and analyses.
(Hourly Rate: $18\.35 \- $29\.80\)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1\) year of related experience required or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
