Job Title: Sr. Legal Assistant – Administrative Case Management

Position Overview:
Huron Law Group is an established and rapidly growing high\-volume national debt defense law firm focused on providing cost\-effective legal representation to consumers. Our firm is currently seeking a full\-time, highly organized, and detail\-oriented Sr. Legal Assistant to support a Managing Attorney. This is a full\-time position Monday\-Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm that is fully remote and allows you to work from anywhere within the United States.
This role performs administrative and case management functions under the supervision of a licensed attorney and does not provide legal advice or independently exercise legal judgment. This position focuses on monitoring various aspects of cases, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the management and resolution of escalated matters.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment, managing large case volumes, and ensuring that case files, deadlines, and documentation remain organized and up to date. The ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, legal support staff, court personnel, and management is essential. This is a critical role that will expand as the department grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Managing Attorney with administrative oversight of a high\-volume caseload.
- Track and monitor case statuses to ensure proper workflow and timely follow\-up.
- Maintain and update case management systems, and tracking boards, ensuring timely action and resolution.
- Log and track various administrative and escalated matters.
- Maintain organized electronic case files and documentation.
- Track deadlines, court dates, and internal follow\-up tasks.
- Prepare and organize internal reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding case status, documentation, and administrative follow\-up.
- Support internal administrative processes that help improve case tracking and efficiency.
- Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or Paralegal certificate preferred.
- 3\+ years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a legal administrative support role.
- Experience working in a high\-volume legal environment strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting attorney workflow.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Dynamics and Salesforce.
- Experience in debt resolution, collections, creditors’ rights, or consumer financial matters.
- Familiarity with default judgments, post\-judgment processes, or administrative case tracking.

The Sr. Legal Assistant works remotely from a home office or other dedicated workspace within the United States. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer and various software programs, including an online phone system. The individual must have access to high\-speed internet.
