The Team

The Executive Assistant will serve as the primary administrative “quarterback” for assigned Managing Directors (MDs), ensuring proactive, high\-quality execution of executive support, complex scheduling, account team coordination, Salesforce hygiene, and practice calendar management. The Executive Assistant (EA) partners closely with the Senior Executive Assistant (SEA) and delegates to/oversees the Administrative Assistant (AA) to deliver against service levels and operational standards.

This position is primarily in\-office with remote flexibility (one day per week).

How you will contribute:

Executive Support

  • Calendar management (sequence internal/external commitments, resolve conflicts, protect focus time)
  • Travel arrangements
  • Timesheet and expense report review for policy compliance and accuracy
  • Meeting Operations

  • Pre\-read and presentation compilation and on\-schedule delivery (internal / external meetings)
  • Onsite meeting coordination
  • Business Development \& Proposal Support

  • Internal / external business development meeting scheduling and coordination (invites, agendas, materials, and logistics)
  • Salesforce entry updates and maintenance
  • Proposal administrative form(s) coordination with AA and Contracts Office
  • Signature approval and coordination with Contracts Office
  • White glove review of executive\-ready pitches and proposals for printing
  • Proposal debrief meeting scheduling and notes posting to Salesforce
  • Sales Reporting for MD\-led Contract Vehicles
  • Event Management

  • Conference and team\-building planning and execution
  • Vendor management (contracts, SLAs, reconciliation, and closeout)
  • Collaboration and Communication

  • Alignment on standards, Administrative SOPs, and SLA adherence
  • Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Clear tasking, work product review, and feedback to AA
  • Coverage planning with AA for absences / peaks
  • Early risk, delay, or conflict escalation with mitigation options
  • Travel Required:

  • Limited travel may be required to AM office sites or events as required and approved by Senior Executive Assistant
  • Skills:

  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment
  • Strong writing and note\-taking for professional and concise minutes and summaries
  • Results\-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high\-quality outcomes and exceeding internal customer expectations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Expertise in event planning and coordination
  • Familiarity with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Advanced Outlook calendar orchestration; complex schedule triage
  • Microsoft Office: Excel (reconciliations/reporting), PowerPoint (executive\-ready materials), Word, Teams (collaboration)
  • Expense/finance systems (Concur, SAP); CRM literacy (Salesforce read\-only/report pulling)
  • Event logistics expertise (budgeting, contracts, vendor SLAs, hybrid/virtual execution)
  • Security and compliance awareness: PII handling, access controls, secure sharing
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field
  • 5\-7\+ years of relevant experience, 2\-3\+ years supporting multiple senior executives
  • Experience coordinating cross\-functional account teams and maintaining CRM data, preferred
  • Consulting or public sector experience preferred

Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez \& Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy\-two (72\) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.

    The salary range is $90,000 \- $100,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A\&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
