Established in 2008, the firm focuses on criminal defense, personal injury, administrative law and bankruptcy cases. Known for its client\-focused approach and recognition in the legal community, the firm values dedication, professionalism, and excellence. \ We are seeking an energetic and detail\-oriented Administrative Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support across multiple practice areas, ensuring smooth office operations and assisting attorneys with case management. Your proactive attitude and organizational skills will help us deliver exceptional service to our clients while maintaining efficiency within the firm. Our firm requires entering case appearance within 24 hours of us collecting $1 or more from a client in a case that can be entered into. As such, a primary part of the job is daily reviewing any case where we have collected funds from a client, confirming from the file clerk the fee agreement from the client and entering into the case. Every single day, the successful candidate will be auditing all cases that have come in and ensuring they have been entered into, helping to ensure calls have been set up with attorneys and assisting on these tasks. Since a substantial part of the job is filing electronic entries of appearance, we will consider a hybrid option as well as part\-time employment. \
    • Manage legal document preparation, review, proofreading, and transcription to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards
    • Assist with legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage, and other case management systems to support ongoing cases
    • Organize and maintain legal files, documents, and case records with meticulous attention to detail
    • Support attorneys in drafting contracts, pleadings, reports, and other legal correspondence with clarity and precision
    • Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information for case development while maintaining confidentiality
    • Coordinate appointments, court dates, and meetings to optimize attorney schedules
    • Handle data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general clerical tasks to keep the office running smoothly

    • Proven paralegal or legal administrative experience supporting law offices or legal teams
    • Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law \& regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, litigation procedures
    • Experience with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis is highly preferred
    • Proficiency in document management systems like iManage or PCLaw; strong data entry skills
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
    • Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities
    • Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for interviewing clients and coordinating with team members
