Position Summary:

Summary Description:

Under the supervision of the VP of HR or designee, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department, the mailroom and other departments as needed. Duties include answering phones; creating, editing and/or typing documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and copying, collating, filing, and shredding of materials, as well as working on special projects as needed. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Answers and screens phone calls for department personnel as appropriate or assigned.
  • Responsible for coordinating meetings as requested.
  • Ensures confidentiality of files.
  • Coordinates supplies for the office.
  • Assists in processing of new hires and terminations.
  • Assists mailroom in delivering mail and special projects.
  • Prepares and processes accounts payable vouchers and business expense reports.
  • Prioritizes work requests in consideration of timeliness and necessity; consults with supervisor(s) as necessary.
  • Posted Salary Range: USD $18\.00 \- USD $20\.00 /Hr. Wage Commensuration: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.   • Supports the Office.
  • Is knowledgeable of patient/resident rights and promotes an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well\-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.
  • Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for:
  • Safety, including precautions and safe work practices, established fire/ safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or correct unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.
  • Confidentiality and privacy of all data, including patient/resident, employee and operations data.
  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance with and enforcement of current law and policy to provide a work environment free from harassment and all illegal and discriminatory behavior.
  • Supports and participates in common teamwork:
  • Cooperates and works together with all co\-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
  • Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.
  • Qualifications \& Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D
  • Must have 1\-2 years of support experience in office setting
  • Must have excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and customer service skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, monitor and control multiple unrelated projects and activities
  • Must have working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or similar programs
  • Reliable transportation required
