As a Full Time Care Technician, you'll provide services to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Billings, MT. The scheduled hours are Monday 8:00am\-5:00pm and Tuesday\-Friday 7:00am\-4:00pm.
What You’ll Do
- Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
- Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up\-to\-date records
- Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
- Performs routine CLIA waived laboratory tests, operates EKG and other diagnostic equipment, and collects specimens
- Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow\-up calls, and orders medical supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Current certification with hands\-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant Program training program preferred
- Work experience in health center/ doctor’s office setting patient and/or long\-term care
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
