Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
The Administrative Support Specialist provides administrative support to one or more Directors of Development. This will include preparations for donor and advisory board meetings as well as trip books. The position will submit travel reimbursements for development team members. This position will assist other members of the administrative support team with maintaining files, reception desk coverage and preparations for Arts and Sciences Foundation board meetings and events in coordination with the Director of Donor Engagement and Events.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Management Preferences
- Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with prospect management databases is preferred.
