Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail\-oriented Entry\-Level Accounting Clerk to support our accounting team with day\-to\-day financial operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting and gain hands\-on experience in a fast\-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
  • Enter and process invoices and payments
  • Perform basic account reconciliations
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records
  • Assist with data entry and reporting
  • Support the accounting team with month\-end tasks
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoices or discrepancies
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and support multiple departments as needed
  • Required Qualifications

  • Minimal experience required (in accounting and bookkeeping)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and switch priorities quickly
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must be able to work on\-site in Westmont, IL
  • Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop
  • Familiarity working with a 3PL (Third\-Party Logistics) system
  • Associate’s degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Internship or prior office/admin experience
  • Work Environment \& Expectations

  • On\-site role only (no remote/hybrid)
  • Fast\-paced, team\-oriented environment
  • Ability to switch gears quickly based on departmental needs

  • Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience; details will be discussed during the interview process
