Job Summary

The Office Clerk/Scheduler supports daily office operations and plays a key role in scheduling nurses and therapists for patient visits. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail\-oriented, and interested in building a career in the home health industry.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate patient visits for nurses and therapists
  • Communicate with clinical staff regarding schedules, changes, and availability
  • Answer phone calls and assist patients, caregivers, and staff professionally
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, and record maintenance
  • Maintain accurate schedules and patient information
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support office operations
  • Learn and follow home health policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous office, clerical, or scheduling experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
  • Strong organizational and time\-management skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using computers, phones, and basic office software
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast\-paced environment
