Role Description

This is a full\-time, on\-site or remote role located in Salt Lake City, UT, for a Loan Officer Assistant. The Loan Officer Assistant will provide administrative and client support to loan officers by aiding in preparing loan applications, managing client communications, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of loan documentation. Responsibilities include coordinating with underwriting teams, verifying client details, managing schedules, and maintaining thorough records. This role requires multitasking in a fast\-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the overall loan process.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Loan Officers and familiarity with the Mortgage Industry, including the loan application and approval process, at least 1 year.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with a demonstrated ability to assist clients in a professional and courteous manner
• Knowledge or experience in Underwriting and related loan documentation processes
• Excellent Communication skills, including verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Highly organized and detail\-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficiency in using loan origination systems and other related financial software is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is an asset
• Prior experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or in a similar role is preferred

* Third\-Party Document Mastery: Order, track, and perform reviews of all third\-party documents including Title Commitments, Homeowner’s Insurance (HOI) policies, and Appraisals.

* Condo Expert: Navigate the complexities of condo approvals, including ordering and reviewing Condo Questionnaires, Master Insurance Policies, and Budgets.

* Pipeline Coordination: Assist the Loan Processor in clearing conditions and gathering outstanding items to ensure on\-time closings.

* Clearance \& Compliance: Review all third\-party documents for discrepancies, ensuring they align with underwriting guidelines and TRID requirements.

* Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain professional and proactive communication with title companies, insurance agents, and HOAs to prevent "eleventh\-hour" delays.

* File Prep: Organize and "stack" loan files for submission, ensuring 100% accuracy in the initial document dump.
