We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage patient intake procedures
- Measure and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection
- Support diagnostic procedures including X\-ray operations and basic laboratory tests
- Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked and sanitized
- Assist with inpatient and outpatient care across various specialties such as internal medicine, hospital medicine, or surgical units
- Perform ICD coding for diagnoses to support billing processes and medical records management
- Support emergency medicine teams at Level I or Level II trauma centers by providing timely assistance during critical situations
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols including Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requirements
- Prior experience working in hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or specialty departments such as dermatology or geriatrics is highly desirable
- Hands\-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is essential
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively assist in patient care activities
- Experience supporting inpatient units like the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Geriatrics wards, or Medical\-Surgical floors preferred
- Familiarity with emergency medicine procedures at Level I or Level II trauma centers enhances your candidacy
- Demonstrated ability to perform vital signs measurement, intake processes, and basic diagnostic support confidently
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications related to radiology or medication administration are a plus
