Overview
We are offering a 1099 independent contract opportunity for an Administrative and Marketing Assistant to join our center, The Road Less Traveled Counseling Center (Central Denver) for 15\-25 hours per week to provide administrative and marketing support primarily related to EMDR Trainings. We are seeking an experienced, detail\-oriented, responsible, skilled, responsive, mature, and professional person who is proficient with a variety of computer programs and loves learning new software programs and developing streamlined systems. The ideal candidate has experience in the mental health or health field, is familiar with EMDR therapy, is highly organized, is able to manage time effectively and efficiently, is self\-directed, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, has strong customer service presentation skills, is team\-oriented and is attentive to detail when learning new skills.
At The Road Less Traveled Counseling Center, we specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. We provide individual, couples and group counseling as well as consultation, supervision and EMDRIA\-Approved training in EMDR Therapy.
Specific Skills/Qualifications
- Administrative experience
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Adobe programs, Google Docs, Dropbox, OneDrive, video editing, cloud services, website development programs, Formsite, Learning Management Systems, QuickBooks Online, and other technology
- Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, tasks, schedules, and information
- Respond to emails regarding upcoming trainings, registration questions, and more. Must be checking inbox every day (Monday through Friday) and responding to all emails within 1 business day.
- Responding to new client email and phone calls
- Update the clinician referral database as needed
- Present excellent customer service skills
- Update handbook of how to answer common questions, offer refunds, etc. for future onboarding (as needed)
- Respond to emails from potential training participants
- Process new registrations
- Create, organize and update excel spreadsheets to track participants of each cohort
- Ensure that all steps for completing EMDR Trainings are fulfilled by each participant in a timely manner.
- Follow up with training participants who have not completed all required steps to complete their training
- Track and consolidate responses to assessment questions
- Track and consolidate evaluation feedback to improve future trainings
- Edit training manuals and PowerPoints
- Develop streamlined system for registration with automatic emails, distribution of material and reminder emails
- Ensure that continuing education and certificate of completion are distributed to training participants
- Compile required information to submit to continuing education organizations and process CE education renewals
- Update website and Learning Management Software as needed
- Post ads for new positions and respond to inquiries, as needed
- Assist with budget updates and QuickBooks Online processes
- Monitor and organize trainer emails
- Assist with marketing projects as needed

Hours: 15\-25 hours per week (60\-100 hours per month), with option to work within in a beautiful office at the Gebhard Mansion in Central Denver, virtually, or a combination of the two. Opportunity to increase hours and expand responsibilities over time. Administrative Assistant will meet with Administrative Manager 1\-2 hours/month and Elizabeth Legg 1\-2 hours/month and will consult with others, as needed.
