  • We are looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant with to join our team and provide support to our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing websites and social media accounts, creating graphics on Canva, managing the volunteer schedule, and sending out mass communications. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a high attention to detail.

    Responsibilities:

  • Send out text communications using a texting software program. Ensure accuracy of the messages before sending. Respond to texts in a professional manner.
  • Maintain church software databases and calendars.
  • Manage the church website
  • On Sundays, attend pre\-church huddle (11 am), then help get things ready for the Sunday service that starts at 11:30 am. This person will be a fill in for volunteers that don't show up, so the candidate may end up doing anything from being a front door greeter to checking kids in with the check in system, or preparing the communion trays for the service.
  • During the Sunday Service, take pictures to be posted on social media later in the week.
  • On Sunday, make sure volunteers are in their positions. Track who did not show up for their position and follow up with them later in the week.
  • On Sunday afternoon or evening, enter in new customers into the church database system (Text in Church).
  • Attend a weekly meeting with the pastor, take notes, and help execute tasks that are discussed in the meetings.
  • Create sign up sheets for special events.
  • Schedule a series of Facebook and Instagram posts.
  • Do any tasks that help take things off the plate of the Lead Pastor.
  • Schedule and Supervise volunteers: keeping volunteer schedule up\-to\-date, following up with people who did not fulfill their scheduled duties
  • 10 Hours Per Week

    Sundays are required as this is the main day of operation for the church, as well as certain key tasks that must be done on Sunday afternoon.

    As far as the meeting with the pastor, the administrative assistant and pastor can work out their meeting another day of the week.

    We are looking for someone who is highly organized \- task and detail\-oriented.

    We are looking for someone who loves social media \- this person loves using social media for personal use as well as professional use.

    We are looking for someone who loves technology, and already has a good working knowledge of several tech applications \- how to use Meta's business app for posting to both FB and IG at the same time/how to schedule posts out for a whole week, video trimming software, how to create graphics in Canva, experience in database management programs, website management software, email software, Google apps (calendar, contacts, Gmail, Drive, Google Meet), etc.

    Can train in any of these software programs, but we are looking for someone who is already experienced in a lot of these.

    Pay: $20\.00 \- $21\.00 per hour
