  • In this position you would be responsible for, including but not limited to, assisting the Dealership Controller in tabulating and posting data to records books, and compiling records and reports. You would report directly to the Dealership Controller.

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounts payable/receivable
  • Minimum of 1 of working experience in accounting
  • Previous dealership working experience, a PLUS!
  • Must be detail\-oriented and able to multi\-task in a fast\-paced environment
  • Must have good work ethics including maintaining a neat work area.
  • Excellent follow\-through skills.
  • Proficient working with accounting software (Tekion a PLUS!) and with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
  • Ability to multi\-task in a demanding environment
  • Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre\-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.
  • Essential Duties, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and document customer accounts to reflect updated information.
  • Serve as liaison between outside agencies or 3rd parties that provide resources and support.
  • Administer incoming vehicle titles including QA for accuracy and key data points
  • Maintains the Vehicle Title Repository
  • Make outbound and receive inbound calls to gather or clarify information with service providers.
  • Accurately document all information pertaining to accounts.
  • Prepare and/or process documents; review for accuracy and completeness; update information and/or evaluate against policy; compare elements for consistency or logical relationships, etc.
  • Deal with internal and external customers and clients in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
  • Successfully manage the filed visit process by being an intermediary between our clients and service providers.
  • Answer customer inquiries or concerns in person, e\-mail, fax or telephone in a professional, customer\-focused manner.
  • Keeps vehicle records in computer systems up to date regarding the status of the post repossession process.
  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of all tools and resources that are available to associates.
  • Manage different aspects of the post repossession process, i.e. transportation, recovery agent invoicing.
  • Ensure retail transactions are processed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare purchase and trade\-in documentation.
  • Contacts banks to obtain lien releases.
  • Verifies the costs and transactions for each vehicle sale.
  • Assist in creating and processing leasing and loan paperwork.
  • Assist in other accounting functions as needed.
  • Salary Range: $18\.00 \- $20\.00 per hour
