Department Overview:
The EMR \& Wireless Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Director EMR \& Wireless Programs and contribute to all aspects of the administration of the programs.
Position Overview:
The EMR \& Wireless Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily administrative tasks and light website maintenance and editing. This position will maintain departmental calendars, interdepartmental communications, and data heavy spreadsheets.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to department leadership and staff
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
- Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Answer and route phone calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems (Existing)
- Assist with heavy data entry, record keeping, and document management
- Support meeting logistics, including agendas, notes, and follow\-up items
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks or requests
- Provide support for special projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Attend meetings and events as required
- Respond to calls, emails and text communications in a timely manner
- All other duties as assigned
- 3\+ years of experience in administrative work in a fast paced environment
- Able to work core business hours (9am \- 4pm ET)
- Self starter that will own the role and the duties
- Knowledge and understanding of the health freedom movement
- Have a personal interest in, and understanding of issues surrounding CHD’s mission, including EMR \& Wireless issues
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, and take initiative
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people
- AA in related field (Paralegal, Business, Environmental, etc)
- Paralegal experience
- Digital media experience
