Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. In this vital role, you will manage payroll operations, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and collaborate with HR and finance teams to support overall organizational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Process payroll using advanced payroll management systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain detailed records of employee hours, wages, deductions, benefits, and tax information through reliable payroll software and accounting systems like QuickBooks and PeopleSoft
  • Reconcile payroll accounts regularly by performing general ledger reconciliation, account analysis, and journal entries to ensure data integrity
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including deductions for health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits
  • Handle tax filings, compliance reporting, and year\-end documentation in accordance with governmental regulations
  • Collaborate with HR to update employee records in HRIS systems and process new hires, terminations, or changes in employment status
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes related to payroll expenses and reimbursements while ensuring adherence to financial concepts such as debits \& credits and double entry bookkeeping
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience managing payroll processes using systems like Workday, Kronos, Ceridian, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of payroll management practices combined with expertise in accounting software such as QuickBooks or equivalent financial tools
  • Familiarity with human resources functions including benefits administration and HRIS systems
  • Understanding of governmental accounting standards, tax regulations, and non\-profit accounting (if applicable)
  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in 10 key typing is preferred
  • Ability to perform account reconciliation, analyze financial data, and execute journal entries confidently
  • Knowledge of technical accounting principles related to general ledger reconciliation, debits \& credits, and bookkeeping practices
