Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS management. Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms such as iCIMS, Taleo, or Workday, and coordinating interviews through effective communication skills.
- Support employee orientation and onboarding initiatives to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated seamlessly into the company culture.
- Manage employee records and data entry tasks accurately within HRIS systems like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro, maintaining data integrity for workforce management.
- Help administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation claims, and retirement plans like Paychex or ADP.
- Contribute to employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data and assisting in performance management activities aligned with strategic planning and talent management initiatives.
- Support compliance efforts related to employment \& labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and affirmative action planning to ensure organizational adherence.
- Assist with training \& development programs and participate in change management projects to promote organizational growth and employee engagement.
- Previous administrative experience in human resources or related fields is preferred; familiarity with HR sourcing tools such as Lever or Workday is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of human capital management principles, employment law compliance, and conflict management strategies.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or Kronos will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management techniques and organizational design principles.
- Familiarity with payroll systems like Paychex or Paylocity and social media management for recruiting purposes is desirable.
