Part\-Time Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper

Swift.CPA is growing, and we are looking for a reliable, detail\-oriented, high\-integrity team member who takes pride in their work and enjoys learning.
This is a mostly remote, part\-time contractor position with occasional in\-person client visits in the Port Saint Lucie to Vero Beach areas.
Training will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing
Administrative Support
- Organize digital files and manage client documentation
- Coordinate client onboarding
- Take notes during client meetings (in person and virtual)
- Assist with light marketing and social media posting (training provided)
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- General ledger maintenance
- Journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
- Maintain clean, audit\-ready records
- Support budgeting and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- QuickBooks Online
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Google Meet and related tools
- 2\+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Comfortable reconciling accounts “to the penny”
- Highly organized and detail\-oriented
- Strong email and written communication skills
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Professional appearance for client visits and video calls
- Reliable, honest, and dependable
- Payroll processing experience
- Tax preparation experience
- Highly organized and capable of learning new things
- Good with email, Word, Excel and Google Meet.
- Excellent work ethic (reliable, honest, and pride in workmanship)
- Have 2\+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Versed in QuickBooks Online.
- Pay attention to details and love reconciling to the penny
- Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting
- Familiarity with financial concepts such as debits \& credits, journal entries, double\-entry bookkeeping, and account analysis
- Knowledge of payroll processing and tax experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately and support decision\-making processes
- Must be able to appear well groomed and professional for client visits and video calls with clients
