Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Pre\-School Front Office Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for families and visitors, managing daily administrative tasks, and supporting the smooth operation of the preschool. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a nurturing educational community dedicated to fostering young children's growth and development. Must be very reliable. The schedule would be 6:30 AM \-3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Greet parents, children, and visitors warmly upon arrival and departure
- Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate attendance records and student files
- Assist with enrollment processes and scheduling appointments
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and supply management
- Support communication between teachers, parents, and staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Ensure the front office area remains tidy, welcoming, and organized
- Collaborate with team members to implement school policies and procedures effectively
- drive the van if needed
- Prior experience in an administrative or front office role is preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast\-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- A positive attitude and a genuine interest in early childhood education are highly desirable
Requirements
High school diploma
Valid Driver's Lincense
DCF 45 hours completed
Pay: $15\.00 \- $17\.00 per hour
