Seasonal Tax Preparer

Job Overview CTS Tax Pros, a leader in personal and business tax preparation is looking for experienced tax preparers for the upcoming tax season in our South Weymouth office. The person should have a least 1 to 2 years experience preparing personal and business tax returns in a business setting. The position is in person working alongside our experienced tax professionals. No remote work is required. A preparer who is knowledgeable with Drake Software is a plus. Pay is based on hourly wage plus a bonus. The position would be available on a part\-time basis from January to April 2027\. Duties Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using Drake tax preparation software. Ensure all tax documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with federal, state, and local tax laws. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify tax\-related questions. Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to provide expert guidance on tax reporting and compliance issues. Assist in client acquisition efforts through marketing initiatives and providing excellent customer service. Experience 1 to 2 years prior experience in tax preparation or accounting. Proficiency in tax preparation software such as Drake Tax or similar platforms. Excellent math skills coupled with attention to detail for accurate data entry. Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients regarding complex financial concepts and documentation requirements.
